The card sets from Wizards of the Coast will feature all of the Doctors all of the their companions, and the villains from Doctor Who, including Ncuti Gatwa’s upcoming Doctor.
The sets will feature four Doctor Who Universes Beyond commander decks, collector boosters and packs containing rares, foils, frames, alternative artwork and other visual variants.
200 new cards across four Commander Decks
Built around four 50-card Commander-format prebuilt decks as well as special collector booster packs,
the four MTG Doctor Who decks are as follows:
- Blast from the Past – featuring Old-Who, the first eight doctors
- Timey Wimey – featuring Doctors Nine, Ten, and Eleven
- Paradox Power – featuring Doctors Twelve and Thirteen
- Masters of Evil – featuring all of the monsters and villains
These decks will feature a new mechanic, Doctor’s Companion, which lets you have a second commander, provided one is a Doctor, and the other a Doctor’s Companion.
