In its second year, the blog Confessions of a Neowhovian continued its slow ramp up from obscurity, gradually gaining new readers and hosting some good conversations about Doctor Who and how we, as fans, enjoy different things about the same episodes. Much of this expansion is due to blogger Marcia R. Franklin's increased activity on social media, particularly Twitter (where, as on the blog, she goes by "the Neowhovian"). Building a presence in social media this way led to a spot in a tweet-based Doctor Whotrivia tournament hosted by a Twitter community called the "Time Lord Society." Little did the Neowhovian dream she would take home the (virtual) trophy, nor that she could defend her title in the Christmas tourney - but she's certainly happy enough to add those awards to her trophy case!
Making use of her growing knowledge of pre-Hiatus (“Classic”) Doctors and her own experiences getting to know them after having become a fan via the Ninth and Tenth Doctors, the Neowhovian has included in this volume an exclusive Quick-Start Guide for others looking to expand their whovian horizons. While the Guide will not ever appear online, new material posts to the blog at least every Wednesday. The Neowhovian welcomes your comments and questions on posts, on Facebook, or on Twitter.
